We’re fishing! After hundreds of holes and stakes to make sure we’re on safe ice, we have completed our first full day for the 2017/18 season. We saw a good mix of fish today, with lots of bait steelers. There were several eaters showing up in the buckets as well. We saw some slot walleye today (19.5″ to 28″) with a big 28″ walleye caught and released by Jacob on his 12th birthday. Overall, it was a good first day.
