2/26/17 Fishing Report

Here’s your latest report from Captain Tim “Wingnut” Hill. We’re working the deep sides of the reefs and getting a nice mix of walleye and sauger with some bonus perch. Dead sticks are catching most of the fish, but you need to be jigging to get fish to bite. A flasher/finder helps to get the suspended fish, those usually being larger walleyes. The ice is in great shape and we still have a layer of snow on the ice.

We were up there last Thursday And Friday. Nine of us all caught fish and had a great time.

    • That's great news! We appreciate you choosing Rocky Point!

How much snow and ice do you have? We have a planned trip for 3-16 thru 3-19, are we still good?

    • Blaine - sorry for the delay! We have great ice -- 30 inches in most places. See you soon!
