3/16/18 Fishing Report
Here’s your latest report from Rocky Point guide Brett Janicke on Lake of the Woods:

There’s plenty of ice in our area and we will be fishing until the end of the month! We’re actively chasing the fish, as they are moving around a lot. Guests are seeing nice action in the flats at 25-27 feet. Pike fishing has been producing big numbers and quality sizes the past week. Guests are reporting a mixed bite with walleye and sauger; the key is to change your setup and try different colors throughout the day. Extensions are still needed for augers.

Be sure to take advantage of our Late Ice Special that starts on 3/19 — 20% off fishing packages, day fishing, and cabin rental.

Pictured is Kamren Janicke showing just how big of an auger is needed to get through the ice!
