The August bite has been hot on the south shore of Lake of the Woods! Our charter boats have been catching lots of keepers, as well as plenty of beautiful slot fish. We’re pulling spinners on the reefs in 27-31′, as well as down-rigging on the mud flats in 32-35′ running the balls 3-6′ off the bottom. The hot colors have been gold and black, silver and fire tiger. Best of luck out there!
