The winter months brought some ups and downs with fishing, but things have been looking up the past few weeks. The bite seems to be improving and we’re seeing beautiful fish coming in. Although it might take a few days, we’re seeing limits being brought home. Steve Klein of St. Cloud, Minnesota, fished at Rocky Point last Thursday through Saturday. On his first day, he caught and released a 27″ walleye. Two hours later, he caught and released a 23″ in walleye. He also brought in a 14″ perch their last day. The Wienen group visited Rocky Point on March 14 & 15. They had six people in their group and ended up going home with six limits.
Rocky Point has extended our ice fishing season and will be open April 1-6. We will rent cabins without fishing services if you choose that option. Call us at 1-800-535-7585 to book your last fishing trip of the season!
