1/22/26 Fishing Report

Here’s our latest fishing report from Captain Tim “Wingnut” Hill on beautiful Lake of the Woods!

We are running our fleet of track vans and have groomed trails for nice travel in all types of weather. With this mobility, we are fishing 11 reefs located within 30 minutes of the resort.

The bite is changing with weather swings, but anglers are using their electronics and changing lures to find what the fish want. Customers are coming in with nice take home walleyes and saugers, while the occasional big walleyes are getting their photo shoot.

Ice conditions are great and we’re constantly moving our fleet of houses to stay on the fish. Overall, it’s been good fishing with lots of happy anglers. The Waletzko group had a fun trip with me this week landing five slot fish. One member of the group caught four slot fish in one day, the biggest one measuring in at 25 inches.
