Here’s your latest fishing update from Captain Ed Albrecht at Arnesen’s Rocky Point on Lake of the Woods!
We’ve been fishing in 24-28 ft. of water near the Twin Island and Gull Rock areas. We have about 12″ of ice where we are fishing. There are very cold temperatures in the forecast, so we anticipate good ice making days ahead. We’re sticking to our staked trails as the ice is rough. We’ve been seeing a lot of nice fish on the plain hook and bobber set up. The red Lindy Flyer has also been producing. Best of luck out there!
