12/24/22 Fishing Report

Here’s your latest fishing report from Captain Cole Buley on beautiful Lake of the Woods.

We’re fishing depths from 22 to 31 ft. Smaller lures and more natural presentations have been working best. I’ve also seen neon colors and glow jigs killing it. On average, the ice thickness is about 14-15 inches where our houses are placed. As the ice thickens, we are hoping to start reaching out to our favorite annual spots sometime after the new year; we’re just waiting on the ice conditions to keep improving.
