7/13/17 Fishing Report

Fishing has been steady at Rocky Point the past few weeks. Our charter boats are still pulling spinners around the reefs and on the sand by Lamberston’s Rock. We’ve started downrigging out in the mud flats around 33 ft. Jigging is starting to get tough now that the water is warming up. Frozen shiners and crawlers are the bait of choice. Be prepared to change up your presentation and be patient with the bite. We’ve seen some beautiful slot fish, as well as plenty of keepers. Best of luck out there!
