Fishing Report 2/28/20

Here’s your latest ice fishing report from Captain Cole Buley on beautiful Lake of the Woods! Fishing has been steady around Rocky Point. We are fishing anywhere from 21-32 feet of water. Electronics are key. We’re noticing that anglers running smaller lures on the dead stick are picking up fish; the more natural presentation seems to be working best. On the jigging rod, go with something loud and proud to draw the fish in. As for colors, try anything neon when it’s overcast and on the sunny days, go with gold and silver. Good luck!
**As a reminder, fishing licenses expire on Feb. 29, 2020. You will need to purchase a new license beginning March 1, 2020.
