1/29/26 Fishing Report
Here’s our latest fishing report from Rocky Point guide Mason on beautiful Lake of the Woods!
We are fishing all of our regular areas around Rocky Point in depths from 28-32 feet of water. Travel has been great, as we are using our big track rigs and have nicely groomed trails to each area. Anglers have been marking plenty of fish on electronics, you just have to find what they want each day. Typical pink, gold, or just a simple plain red hook 4-6 inches off bottom seems to be working consistently. There have been plenty of good eater fish being caught and the occasional slot walleye mixed in. We have approximately 2.5 feet of ice and the guides are working hard to stay on the fish. Our crew appreciates seeing all the happy faces that come to visit us throughout the winter! Pictured below is a nice slot fish caught by the Abramson group that recently fished with me. ~ Mason
