Here’s your latest fishing report from Captain Tim “Wingnut” Hill on beautiful Lake of the Woods!

The fish are biting well with jigging, using a plain hook and a split shot. Guests are going home with a nice catch of walleye, sauger and even a few perch. Several slot fish between 20-29″ are being caught and released. Most of our houses are sitting in 25-28 feet of water. Red and pink glow spoons have been the hot colors; jigging or a plain hook with split shot head on a dead stick. Electronics have been very helpful as some fish are suspended a few feet off the bottom. Best of luck!
