12/23/24 Fishing Report

Here’s our latest fishing report from Captain Tim “Wingnut” Hill on beautiful Lake of the Woods!

Our fleet of houses are on the lake and fishing has been very good. We’re seeing lots of numbers and a nice mix of walleye, sauger and a few perch. Guests are going home with limits (and smiles)! We’re fishing in 25-28 ft. of water and have expanded our fishing locations to include the area between Gull Rock Reef and 12 Mile Reef. Glow red or pink are good color choices. The ice is in great shape and continues to get thicker. Our houses are staged in areas with approximately 15 inches of ice. Our sleeper fish houses are getting ready for customers and we will begin that season after Christmas. It’s looking to be a good start to the ice fishing year! ~ Wingnut
