12/29/25 Fishing Report
Here’s our latest fishing report from Joe Fish on beautiful Lake of the Woods!
As ice conditions continue to improve, we’ve been able to move farther out and fish a wider range of depths and structures. As a result, customers have been getting into some nice fish. Jigging has helped to excite the fish into biting, with dead stick and live minnow to pick up the fish that are less aggressive. I recommend red Buck-Shots or red glow Lindy Flyers — any red spoon will do the trick! We currently have all of our day houses and sleeper fish houses out and ready for customers. We’re set up in a few different areas with depths ranging from 24-31 feet. Our houses are constantly on the move to stay on the bite. The Verkinderens were out fishing with us over the weekend and caught their limit with some bonus slot walleye in the mix. Rick caught this 25″ walleye Saturday and Linda caught a 23″ and 21″ walleye on Sunday. ~ Joe
