2/19/25 Fishing Report
Here’s our latest fishing report from Captain Joey on beautiful Lake of the Woods!
We’re at our annual fishing spots with our day houses, spreading out across the mud, rubble, and clay bottoms just off the reefs. The ice is in great shape and we have approximately 30-34 inches at this time. The fish are feeding on bug larvae and minnows alike. A good number of fish are being caught at depths between 25 and 36 feet. For the jigging rod, I recommend metallic 1/8 oz. and 1/4 oz. spoons and rattling flyers. On the dead stick, I suggest gold tungsten jigs, white backgrounds with orange, pink and similar bright colors. There is still a lot of time to get out and enjoy ice fishing this year! Thank you, and as always, be safe. ~ Captain Joey
