2/5/26 Fishing Report
Here’s our latest fishing report from Captain Cole Buley on beautiful Lake of the Woods!
The bite has remained consistent around Rocky Point. We continue to work the structures, but the mud bite is still stronger than ever! The guides are running houses in a wide range of depths anywhere from 22-35 feet of water depending on the area and structure you are fishing that day. Lure-wise, it’s been all about loud and bold for the jigging rod — Rip ’N Raps, Rattle Raps, and modified Dirty Bomb Blinkers have been hot. For the dead stick or bobber rod, simple has been best — smaller hooks, tungstens, and plain hooks have been getting it done. Below is a photo of the Westphal group who landed a nice slot walleye in the Chief sleeper fish house. Best of luck out there! ~ Cole
