As we move into the second half of March, fishing has been okay, but spotty. The best color choices would be pink/white and gold/orange. Pike season has arrived near Rocky Point and our guests have caught more than 30 pike that were over 40″ this year. On average, we are seeing about 20″ of ice. The top hardened back up with the cold nights, but the bottom 4-7 inches are starting to deteriorate which is typical for this time of year. There’s still some time left of the ice fishing season, so we hope to see you out on the ice.  ~ Captain Nick
