3/21/26 Fishing Report
Here’s our latest fishing report from Captain Nick Dejno on beautiful Lake of the Woods!
We’re wrapping up another great season out on the ice, and we’ll be fishing right through the end of March. Ice conditions remain excellent, with a solid 36 inches of good, safe ice still holding strong around Rocky Point.
Pike fishing has been nothing short of awesome lately. We’ve been seeing consistent action with plenty of aggressive fish, making for some exciting days out there. If you’re looking to target pike before the season closes, now is definitely the time.
Walleye fishing has been a bit more challenging compared to the pike bite, but we’re still putting fish on the ice with some persistence. As for tackle, pink and white have been the standout colors for walleye.
Overall, it’s been a fantastic season, and there’s still time to get in on the action before we call it a wrap. Stay safe, enjoy the late ice conditions, and we hope to see you out there one last time before the thaw!
