December Fishing Update

The Nerland group caught an easy limit and threw back several. This 27.5 beauty hit on a purple jig.
Stephanie Marschall caught this 24 inch walleye, along with 5 keepers. Not bad for only a few hours on the ice!
Ed Arnesen went to “work” on the ice. He’s finding all the hot spots on the lake for our guests.
Scott Butz shows off his keeper walleye.

Winter is officially upon us and fishing at Rocky Point has been good for many of our guests. The temperatures are dropping, which makes for excellent ice-making conditions. We are currently fishing at Gull Rock Reef and the mud flats. The fish are biting on hammered golds, pinks, purples and Rattl’ N Flyer Spoons. We recommend 1/4 to 3/8 oz. jigs for the winter months.

We still have availability in March for ice fishing reservations, as well as sleeper fish house reservations throughout January, February and March.

Call us at 1-800-535-7585 with questions or to book your reservation.
