1/26/24 Fishing Report

Here’s our latest fishing report from Captain Cole Buley on beautiful Lake of the Woods!

We’re starting to get out to our annual fishing areas slowly but surely, and we now have all of our houses on the lake! The ice houses are at depths varying from 24′-34′. The jig bite is still strong and running rattles and lighted lures are helping big time. The hot colors vary depending on area, but your LOTW go to’s like red, pink, gold and green seem to be getting it done.

We are still running our light equipment until we get some colder temperatures. In the areas we are fishing, we’re averaging 15″ of ice, but keep in mind there are still spots we’ve found that are still at 9-10″. Stay safe and we look forward to seeing you on the ice! ~ Captain Cole
